Jamal Musiala (3rd, 13th, 36th, 42nd, 44th) and Mathys Tel (22nd, 25th, 28th, 34th, 41st) scored, as did substitute Marcel Sabitzer (49th, 64th, 66th, 70th, 72nd) five times. The Bavarians are staying at Tegernsee until Thursday to prepare. From Monday to August 3rd they will embark on a trip to Asia. Further test matches against Champions League winners Manchester City (July 26th) and Kawasaki Frontale (29th) will take place in Tokyo, while Liverpool FC (2nd August) will be opponents in Singapore.

The dress rehearsal for the new season takes place on August 7th in Unterhaching against AS Monaco. The first competitive game is the Supercup five days later against cup winners RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga season begins for the defending champions at Werder Bremen on August 18th.

TSV Steinbach Haiger – Eintracht Frankfurt 2:1

Eintracht Frankfurt surprisingly lost its second test match in preparation for the coming season in the Bundesliga. The team of the new coach Dino Toppmöller lost 1:2 (1:1) at the regional league team TSV Steinbach Haiger on Tuesday without the national players.

Serkan Firat (33rd) gave the hosts the lead in front of a record crowd of 4990 spectators, never before had so many fans come to the Steinbacher Stadion. Igor Matanovic, returning from second division FC St. Pauli on loan, equalized a little later for Frankfurt (36′). Gianluca Korta (73rd) scored for the fourth division to win.

FC Augsburg celebrated their second win in the third preparatory game for the coming season. Coach Enrico Maassen’s team defeated the Austrian third division team FC Kufstein in Schladming 9-0 (3-0).

Frederik Winther (5th), Sven Michel (23rd), Ruben Vargas (28th), Maurice Malone (50th, 57th), Mert Kömür (61st) and Irvin Cardona (65th, 80th, 89th) scored the goals for the Swabians. At the beginning of the preparation, Augsburg had the upper hand in the city duel with Türkspor (6:0), the test against Besiktas was stopped at 1:1 because of too much pyrotechnics from the Turkish fans.

There were also problems on Tuesday, but not with the spectators. A violent storm swept through Schladming, where the FCA stayed until July 23, with trees lying across.

RB Leipzig – FC Grimma 7:0

DFB Cup winner RB Leipzig easily won the first pre-season test. The Bundesliga soccer club prevailed 7-0 (5-0) against the Oberliga side FC Grimma in the short-term match.

Newcomer Benjamin Sesko (23rd/26th/36th) impressed with a three-pack on his Leipzig debut. Fabio Carvalho (16th), who came to the Saxons on loan from Liverpool FC, also scored in his debut. The other goals came from an own goal (38′), Cenny Neumann (60′) and U17 European champions Winners Osawe (88′).

Record transfer Lois Openda and defensive talent El Chadaille Bitshiabu, whose commitment Leipzig only announced on Tuesday, were not used. Coach Marco Rose’s team travels to the training camp in South Tyrol on Thursday.
