The first lasts exactly one day and will be July 1st. The second Transferfenster opens from July 15th to October 5th, reports kicker.de.
Originally it lasts Transfer period from July 1st to August 31st. But since this year due to the interruption by the Coronavirus-Pandemic some competitions, such as the Champions League, will not end until the end of August, the DFB and the DFL have agreed to adjust the transfer window.

A transfer of Leroy Sané * from Manchester City to FC Bayern* so move into autumn. The international has already informed the Citizens that he will not renew his contract, which expires in 2021. An agreement between the two clubs is still pending.
The opening of the transfer window on July 1 (exchange period I.1) therefore serves to register the already established bills and to give the players permission to play for the 2020/21 season. How kicker.de writes further, the second transfer window will be adjusted “so that the clubs – also internationally – can make transfers as long and flexible as possible”, as it says in a message.
The DFB board is therefore following a recommendation from the UEFA Executive Committee. It had called on all member associations to end October 5 as the common end date for the upcoming Summer transfer window to be determined because the deadline for registering players for the group stage of the 2020/2021 European Cup competitions was set on October 6th.
