Dortmund narrowly beats Hertha – Bayern also doesn’t give Leverkusen a chance

Borussia Dortmund remains behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga four rounds before the end with seven points.
After an uneventful first half, Alexander Esswein narrowly missed Hertha’s lead after 56 minutes. Just two minutes later, defender Emre Can scored for Borussia with a low shot from outside the box. The team of coach Lucien Favre, who had their series of eight wins in the Bundesliga interrupted only by the 0: 1 against Bayern, brought the narrow lead over time with little effort.

Leverkusen – Bayern 2-4
Bayern Munich is taking the next big step towards the championship title. The formally strong Bayer Leverkusen had to do without shooting star and goalie Kai Havertz, who had to give up after warming up due to injury. Nevertheless, Leverkusen took the lead early through Alario.
However, because Leverkusen was too high, the Munich team had an easy time turning the game before half-time. Coman and Goretzka scored after a quick switch game, Gnabry shortly before the break after a long ball behind the defense.
In the second half it was a good thing: Robert Lewandowski scored his 30th goal of the season, while Thomas Müller gave his 20th league assistant this season. Shortly before the end, Leverkusen could cheer again: Florian Wirtz, who recently turned 17, met wonderfully to correct the result.

RB Leipzig could not fulfill the compulsory task against the bottom of Paderborn. Patrik Schick scored the 1-0 after beautiful preparation from Timo Werner, who was strongly courted by Chelsea. Leipzig had to get by more than half with one man less after a yellow-red card against Dayot Upamecano. It still looked like a win for a long time, until Christian Strohdiek scored in the 92nd minute to equalize.

Düsseldorf scores a point against Hoffenheim in the relegation battle – but after the furious start minutes, more should have looked out. Düsseldorf took the lead after 5 minutes through Hennings, after 9 minutes Hoffenheim central defender Benjamin Hübner had to leave the field with the red card.
But Hoffenheim’s ex-GC players Munas Dabbur and Steven Zuber turned the game for TSG, a quarter of an hour before the end Hennings could at least compensate by penalty.
