“We are continuously in close exchange on all topics related to the corona virus and in coordination with our long-term partner DFL,” said the broadcaster. Without the approval of the DFL, it is not possible to show games on free-to-air television.

The pay-TV broadcaster may broadcast two games per season unencrypted for advertising purposes or pass on the rights to a partner such as ARD and ZDF.
