Bielefeld (SID) – Bundesliga soccer team Arminia Bielefeld has signed attacker Florian Krüger from the second division club Erzgebirge Aue. The 22-year-old, who had been trained in the Schalke 04 miners’ smithy, signed a contract until 2025. Neither club commented on the transfer modalities.
“Florian has drawn attention to himself in the 2nd Bundesliga in recent years and has continuously developed and improved himself,” said coach Frank Kramer: “Diligence, speed and assertiveness are what distinguish him as is his mentality.”
Krüger, who scored eleven goals for Aue last season, is happy “to have the chance to take my first steps in the Bundesliga here.”
