“We expect a large number of passengers for Tuesday and Wednesday, following the rebookings of the reservations initially planned for Monday,” said Brussels Airport in a series of tweets. The airport advises departing travelers to arrive 2 hours in advance for flights within the Schengen zone, and 3 hours in advance for flights outside the Schengen zone. Departures are also advised to check the status of their flights and to prepare the hand luggage in order to speed up the security check. For arriving flights, the airport also recommends checking the status on the website, as flight times may be affected.
