Bruno Fernandes didn’t ask for a substitution against Liverpool, according to BBC Sport, in an attempt to put an end to the hate that has erupted around the episode.
The Manchester United captain has come under fire for his behavior in the Premier League matchday 26, in which the team lost 0-7 to Liverpool. Gary Neville suggested that in one of the episodes at the end of the second half, Fernandes asked for a replacement. Many agreed with him, accusing Bruna of lack of will and unwillingness to fight to the end.
In fact, according to BBC Sport, Fernandes just wanted to clarify his position after Anthony Elanga replaced Marcus Rashford in the 85th minute.
