Broadway theater installs infrared camera after Jesse Williams nude scene leaks | NOW

The theater in New York in which the play Take Me Out te has installed an infrared camera system to monitor during the performance that no one in the audience takes out a telephone. The reason for this is the images of a nude scene by Jesse Williams that ended up on social media earlier this week.

Despite a telephone ban in the room, a visitor to the Broadway show was recording the scene in which the Grey’s Anatomyactor is completely naked on stage. That video and its screenshots ended up on Twitter.

The Second Stage Theater and the Theater Actors’ Equity Association reacted furiously on the leaking of the images.

The theater called the action in a social media statement on Tuesday “sexual harassment and disgusting breach of trust” and also pointed out that sharing someone’s nude images without their consent could have serious legal consequences.
