Well known on Broadway, the famous Canadian actor Nick Cordero died from the aftermath of COVID-19, his wife announced Sunday evening.
In a long post that pays tribute to her husband on Instagram, Amanda Kloots says that “God has a new angel in heaven”.

–First hospitalized for pneumonia, the 41-year-old actor was then declared positive for COVID-19, reports TMZ. During his 95-day hospital stay, the man was said to have suffered various complications, including septic shock, lung infection and amputation of one leg, the source said.

–More recently, the actor would have used a procedure to remove a pacemaker and in the past few days, his wife had even mentioned that a double lung transplant was required.
Before falling seriously ill, Nick Cordero had proven himself in New York by playing in several successes like Cheech in 2014 and in the musical Bullets over Broadway which also earned him a Tony Awards nomination.
Besides his wife, Nick Cordero is survived by his one year old son, Elvis.
