Although the receivership under which the singer was under for more than thirteen years was terminated with immediate effect last month, accountant John Zabel has been appointed to supervise that transition.

entertainment">During Wednesday’s hearing, father Jamie Spears is said to have asked for access to his daughter’s plan for managing his daughter’s assets. The lawyer of accountant Zabel would have replied that ‘in a normal situation, a normal person would never have to share his estate plan’.

entertainment">Zabel will remain on until January 19. The intention is that the transfer will then be completed and ratified in a final court hearing. The judge ruled on Wednesday that the precise details of the handling of the supervision ‘in the interest of the privacy of the person placed under guardianship’ will not be made public.
