The statement “Don’t mention the war”, from a well-known episode of the British comic series, even got a place in our Van Dale dictionary last year.
In 2020, that episode was still under fire because of racist statements by one of the characters. The episode was removed from the BBC’s streaming platform, but eventually returned with a warning for viewers.
In 2019, “Fawlty Towers” was named the best TV series ever by Radio Times Magazine. The original series was shown on BBC, but it is not yet known when and where the sequel will appear.
