Sunak’s response was to reporters when he was in Hiroshima to address the G-7 summit. China is the main challenge and threat to global security and development in the new era. China’s aggressive approach to foreign countries along with authoritarian activities in its own country is a challenge to the world. The G-7 will counter China’s strategy of interfering in the sovereignty of other nations through economic pressure. For this, the G-7 nations, including Britain, will adopt a common approach.
Sunak said that the aim is to reduce the concern raised by China.
