British MoD: Russia has sent 97% of its army to Ukraine

Britain estimates that 97% of Russia’s armed forces are currently in Ukraine. This was stated by the British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace to BBC Radio.

In his words, Moscow’s efforts to make progress “come at a huge cost” and its success is measured in “meters, not kilometers.”

He added that the West is strengthening its own security by helping Ukraine defeat Russia in the war.

“If 97% of the Russian army is now engaged in Ukraine, already extremely exhausted, and its combat effectiveness is probably reduced by 40%, and almost 2/3 of its tanks are destroyed or damaged, this has a direct impact on the security of Europe.” , Wallace said.

“I think Russia is trying to advance in some human way, the levels of attrition are almost like in the First World War, and success is measured in meters rather than kilometers,” he noted.

Wallace added that “the biggest question mark is what happens when Russian leaders are either out of touch with reality or have no respect for the human lives of Russians themselves.
