Elaf from London: A press report published in London said that GPs will start offering the Corona vaccine at Christmas in a quick-implementation plan aimed primarily at protecting the NHS health system.

As part of the plans to be announced by Health Minister Matt Hancock, doctors will begin vaccinating the most vulnerable foreign and British nurses during all days of the week without a holiday during mid-winter.
The Sun newspaper reported that Health Secretary Matt Hancock will roll out plans next week for dozens of vaccination centers so that more than 100,000 people can get vaccinated every day.
Another 3,000 mobile units will be expedited across the country to provide treatment to care homes and those in high-risk groups.

Start pollination
The announcement of the start of the vaccination came as Pfizer and the University of Oxford entered the final testing stages with data indicating that the vaccination could begin within weeks.
The British government is preparing to set up a dedicated vaccination center in every major city. Kate Bingham, chair of the government’s Vaccine Task Force, said earlier this week that vaccinations have “the potential to be ready before the end of the year”.
But she warned that only four million doses of the Oxford vaccine would be manufactured by Christmas, with the possibility of ten million doses of Pfizer available by January.

Government proposal
This estimate, which falls short of the government’s proposal in May that 30 million doses could be available by September, means that mass inoculation between NHS workers and the elderly will not yet be achievable.
Ms. Bingham, Caesar Vaccines in the United Kingdom, planned to purchase six different vaccines, amounting to more than 350 million doses, but there is no guarantee that any of them will succeed.
All of them will also have to be submitted for approval by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) but it is not yet known how long this will take.

Small opportunity
Professor Andrew Pollard, of the University of Oxford, said there was a “small chance” that her vaccine would be ready before Christmas. He added: “The first step is to reach the point where we can conduct an analysis and see if the vaccine works or not. I am optimistic that we may reach this point before the end of this year.”

For his part, the head of the National Health Service in England, Sir Simon Stevens, said that the health service is ready and ready to provide a comprehensive vaccination program for Covid by Christmas.
Over the summer, the British government had cut a deal with AstraZeneca, the pharmaceutical company that owns the rights to the Oxford vaccine – to roll out 30 million doses by September if they prove effective.
