In the coming years, Brouwerij De Brabandere will only focus on producing their beers, such as Bavik Super Pils and Kwaremont. Previously they also produced water and soft drinks of the Bon-Val brand, but after 50 years that is now coming to an end. “The persistent staff shortage forces us to make choices. Our greatest passion lies with beer and not with table water, so it was with a heavy heart that we decided to stop using Bon-Val,” says manager Bert De Brabandere.
At events you will still be able to drink Bon-Val cola from a tap. “We don’t need our bottling plant for the tap. So that’s not onerous. We will also sell our remaining stock”, adds Bert. The brewery will continue to look for additional staff in the coming period, but then for their beers. They especially need brewers and people who work in the lab and logistics.
