BAMAKO, KOMPAS.TV – A Malian woman named Halima Cisse (25) managed to give birth to nine babies at once on Tuesday (4/5/2021). This non-supply event or the birth of 9 babies at once seems to be the first time a woman has successfully delivered 9 babies, and all of the babies survived.

Launch The Associated Press, Wednesday (5/5/2021), 5 baby girls and 4 baby boys, also the mother, were stated to be in good health.

The mother gave birth to her babies by caesarean section on Tuesday (4/5/2021) in Morocco after previously being referred to the country for special treatment and care.

On Wednesday (5/5/2021), all babies born to Cisse were placed in an incubator at the Ain Borja clinic in Casablanca, Morocco.

Actually, Cisse only expected the birth of 7 babies. Under instructions from the Malian government, doctors sent Cisse to Morocco to give birth. This is because all hospitals in Mali, one of the poorest countries in the world, do not have the proper equipment to handle this extraordinary birth process.
