Minister Ersoy’s statement on Twitter is as follows:
“With the biggest historical artifact smuggling operation in the history of the Republic in Izmir and Manisa, 65 thousand pieces of our artifacts, 52 thousand of which were coins, remained on the land they belonged to. I would like to thank our Ministry of Interior and the Public Prosecutor who carried out the operation.”
