As the first player on the ATP tour, Brazil’s tennis hope Thiago Wild became infected with the corona virus. The 20-year-old said on Wednesday via social media. “I received the result of my COVID-19 disease today,” Wild wrote, “I have had symptoms, fever, for about ten days. I felt weak. But I’m feeling better now. ”

Thiago Wild ranks 114th in the world rankings. This year he celebrated his first tour victory at the clay court tournament in Santiago de Chile. Behind Thiago Monteiro (No. 82) he is the number two in his country. In 2018 Wild won the junior competition at the US Open in New York.
