The case of the issue of salary deductions between Alex Dos Santos Goncalves and Tira Persikabo received the attention of the President of Brazil, Jair Messias Bolsonaro.
Alex complained about the situation he was in when he was still strengthening Tira Persikabo. The 25 percent salary he gets is considered too little of the original nominal before the cut.
Alex admitted that he could not pay for his children’s schooling. Because they are not satisfied with the situation. The player who is now strengthening Persita Tangerang then reported Tira Persikabo to the DRC (Dispute Resolution Chamber) FIFA.
Alex is a Brazilian footballer. This case got the attention of the president of his country.
“The Brazilian embassy reported that he was with the Indonesian embassy on December 6 and 7, accompanied by a lawyer and representatives of the Brazilian government,” wrote Brazil’s number one on social media.
“If there are no legal constraints on surveillance, there is a possibility that he will be able to leave the country (Indonesia) on December 13.”

On November 15, 2021, FIFA has won Alex’s lawsuit which was managed by lawyer, Pedro Macieirinha. Tira Persikabo must pay off the remaining salary that has not been paid in the 2020 season.
The deadline for payment of salary arrears that Alex must receive is December 30, 2021. Tira Persikabo will certainly be subject to sanctions if he does not comply with the decisions that have been made.
Tira Persikabo did not remain silent regarding the case with Alex. Laskar Padjadjaran reported Alex back to the police in Indonesia on the grounds of defamation.
The management of Tira Persikabo feels that it has fulfilled all obligations for players in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Decree (SK) from PSSI. The management of Tira Persikabo also emphasized that what Alex conveyed via social media was not true because the club still provided housing, car and health facilities if he was sick or injured.
Alex this season has only appeared five times for Persita. He could not continue his performance with Persita because the process of extending his work permit was suspended due to the absence of an EPO (Exit Permit Only).
“Currently I cannot play for my club, Persita Tangerang. The process of extending my work permit here was suspended because my EPO could not be issued due to a dispute between me and my old club, Persikabo.
“My problem with Persikabo is a dispute that occurs a lot in football, salary issues. I am not willing to agree to a 75% salary cut because as far as I know, FIFA regulations do not allow unilateral salary adjustments in this era of the covid-19 pandemic.”
“This condition made it difficult for me to strengthen Persita. Persita management and I agreed to terminate the contract and arrange for my return to my country. However, it was also hindered because I received a call from the Indonesian Police regarding the report (Tira Persikbao) that I had committed defamation for making false report.”
