Brazil qualified, at dawn today, Monday, officially for football competitions at the Olympic Games, Tokyo 2020, after defeating its Argentine team 3-0, at the end of the qualifiers for the South American continent.
Paulinho opened the scoring for Celsao in the 13th minute, before Matthews doubled the result for the samba dancers in the 30th minute, to return after that and confirm the victory and qualification of his team for the Olympics by adding his second and third goal for his country in the 55th minute.
With that result, the Brazilian team’s balance increased to 5 points, while the Argentine team’s balance stopped for the sixth point, and in the same round the Uruguay team beat Colombia 3-1, but did not qualify for the rise of its score of points for the fourth point.
