West Jakarta Metro Police (West Jakarta) caught a group of youths involved brawl at Pengumben Post, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. This youth group is known as the ‘Joglo 92’ gang.
The group of youth consisted of six people. In addition to arresting six youths, the police also secured evidence in the form of sharp weapons such as sickles.
“The six youths, one of whom was caught carrying a sharp weapon, the type of sickle,” said West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta, Kompol Rahmad Sujatmiko, in a written statement, Sunday (30/1/2022).
Rahmad said that when they arrested the group, the police received information about a brawl carried out by the gangster. The police are coordinating with the South Jakarta Metro Police because the location is bordering.
“At the location, we together with the South Jakarta Metro Police carried out the disbandment and during the disbandment we managed to secure 6 youths,” he said.
Then, he said that before the brawl, they had made an appointment through social media (social media).
“Before they got into a brawl, they had made an agreement by using Instagram live streaming,” he said.
Now, the six youths were taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police for further investigation. Apart from that, the police also seized a sharp weapon of the type of sickle.
