Bratty and Renee empower Bichota

MEXICO CITY, November 10, 2021.- In 2020 the Bichota Effect is here to stay. Karol G reached the ears of millions of people with one of the most listened to reggaetón songs, not only in Latin America but in the entire world. A term that emerged in Puerto Rico that did not even have a feminine connotation, but that the Colombian adopted as “a celebration for all women and men who choose not to be afraid and to be fabulous.”

“The term refers to a time when you feel sexy, flirtatious, daring, strong, empowered and, to some extent, it translates into personal motivation and self-confidence. We are all super Bichotas inside. It is about believing and working so that the rest of the world can see it too ”. Karol G

Bratty and Renee, two of the most outstanding women of the new alternative music in Mexico, surprise with their participation in Spotify Singles, one of the most important creations of the streaming platform Spotify to bring their audience closer to new music and in turn, invite artists from around the world to create unique versions of their favorite songs.

With more than 630 recordings and more than 300 artists of all genres, Spotify Singles has had the participation of Harry Styles, Joji, Post Malone, Mon Laferte, The Marias, Nathy Peluso, Ambar Lucid, Carin León, girl in red, Omar Apollo, Black Pumas, among others.

To represent Mexico and Latin America, and both to be Artists Radar 2021, the Northerners launch a duet Bichota and show off the “picket” that each one, with their characteristic style, has shown in their musical proposals: direct personality, strength and sensitivity, and without a doubt, a great artistic talent.

The production was in charge of Oliver García, Héctor Portilla and Héctor Rubén Mena, better known as 3KMKZ (Three Kamikazes). The musical style of this reversal has a faster beat with a mix of funky guitars, synths, and heavy drums that explode like a classic metal song.

Appropriation and empowerment have no labels or musical or social genres. And with Bichota, Renee Jiménez from Monterrey and Jenny Juárez culichi, they show the diversity and openness of the new generations.
