Brantano was blown away by shoppers all Saturday after announcing a total sell-off. The case in Lommel was already closed by the police at 3 pm, at the request of the branch manager. The store in Genk was also closed around 3.30 pm in consultation with the police. In both cases, compliance with the corona measures could no longer be guaranteed. The police in Hoeselt made sure that the car traffic around the shop did not cause any nuisance and helped at 4.45 pm with the closure. All other stores in Limburg closed at 5 pm.
