I like cryptocurrencies and the junta could not inflict any financial damage on me thanks to cryptocurrencies … Bitcoin is the most stable at the moment and is growing – I buy it and sell it, “said businessman and MP candidate Vasil Bozhkov in a live interview. , broadcast on Facebook and Youtube on Saturday night (March 27).

“Obviously I bought it when it was profitable,” Bozhkov explained. He declined to give details of exactly how much his investment in bitcoin was, but it was revealed that he bought it a long time ago “as a joke”. Asked whether, after the accusations against him and the revocation of licenses for his gambling activities in Bulgaria, the government managed to make him from a billionaire to a millionaire, Bozhkov replied: “Let me keep this a secret, not to give them so much information.” From an answer to another question, it became clear that his property and accounts were still seized, despite some court decisions.

In the pre-election interview for Stanislav Tsanov at the Dan Kolov studio, which lasted nearly an hour, Bozhkov answered pre-recorded and sent questions about politics and business, as well as about FC Levski, education and measures during the coronavirus pandemic. .

During the interview, Bozhkov once again attacked Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev and former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov, calling them the junta and promising beforehand that if he enters parliament, there will be politicians in prison within three months. He also reiterated his campaign request to close the specialized court and prosecutor’s office so that they would no longer be used as a “bat” and the “junta” could not defend itself. Currently, Bozhkov himself has 18 charges in Bulgaria.

From the answer it became clear that he was waiting for the request for his extradition from the UAE to be rejected there within days. He did not explain whether and when he planned to return to Bulgaria, but said that when he returned he would talk to the chief prosecutor, who has not sought him out so far. (author’s note – last year Bozhkov submitted a signal for the payment of a “calm” fee due to the gambling business to Borisov)

The presenter also asked him questions about people from Borisov’s entourage or those connected with the groups and what he knew about them. He said that Mladen Mihalev-Majo (one of the founders of the PEC) has been his friend for years and can only say good things. Asked which side he was in the battle, Bozhkov replied that he was “sitting and waiting his turn, hoping to get away with it.” He also gave an example with Grisha Ganchev, whom he called a serious man, but who was “trapped” by the “junta”. The accused businessman reiterated his thesis that every business is in danger of being seized, as happened to him, and that this also applies to small entrepreneurs, because they may like a local GERB official.

Bozhkov also answered a question about how he had not felt the attack and the seizure of his business earlier, and he answered in the third person about himself: “Because Vasil Bozhkov is untouchable. He is untouchable because he obeys the laws and the state should protect him. Everyone should feel untouchable and under the protection of the state, if they obey the laws. “

Bozhkov announced that if he enters parliament, he will not form a coalition with anyone. “With all previous politicians – no. So alone – if we want change, the alternative is us. To form a coalition with former politicians who have exercised so far, it makes no sense,” said Bozhkov.

He claims that he would not enter into a coalition with Slavi Trifonov, although he himself offered him joint lists before the BNO submitted their own to the Bulgarian Summer.

“I don’t think Slavi is a person who could run a country. Some of his people are appointed by certain groups or economic structures,” Bozhkov said, but did not give examples of people or anyone they represent. “We will be in parliament because of an idea, a policy. So far, everyone has wanted personal gain. Everyone has come in naked and millionaires have come out. We do not have such people and there will be no local feudal lords,” he said in response to questions.

Bozhkov announced that the very idea of legalizing medical marijuana would be useful, and he would hold a referendum on the rest of the use.
