Boys aged 13 and 14 arrested for armed robbery Hoofddorp | Inland

The 13-year-old Amsterdammer and a 14-year-old Hoofddorper wore masks and brandished a knife. They threatened an employee of the store on the Graan voor Visch with this on Friday afternoon. Another employee chased the suspects out of the store by throwing objects at them.

This employee chased the duo while on the phone with the police, but lost track of them. On the indication of witnesses and local residents, one of the two could be traced. He tried to flee, but was later run over by a customer of the store and held down. The police have taken over the suspect. The other boy was arrested moments later. Several knives have been seized.
