An 8-year-old boy was assaulted on King’s Day in the schoolyard of the Juliana van Stolbergschool in Hoogeveen. The child was kicked several times in the head, back and shins.

The boy was playing in the schoolyard at K. de Raadstraat between 4.30 pm and 5.15 pm when two boys and a girl arrived, the Hoogeveen police reported. Facebook.–
“The victim was first turned around on a playground equipment, after which he fell off it. When he lay on the floor, he was kicked in the head, back and shins.” Police are looking for witnesses to the assault.
