Boy (8) injured after scooter collision, driver flees | Inland

That reports Omroep Brabant. The boy was waiting with his family on a bike path after their car had broken down on the side of the road. They were waiting on the side of the guardrail for roadside assistance.

A dark scooter drove up and hit the boy, police said on Twitter. An air ambulance was called in to provide assistance, but it did not eventually land.

The boy has been taken to hospital. It is not yet clear how he is doing now.

The police are still looking for the driver of the scooter, who would have fled the polder.
