The boy was chased from the Het Perron school, on the Sportlaan in Veenendaal, by the three boys. Two on a bicycle and one on an electric scooter. They reached Parallelweg via a number of streets. This is where the chain hit the 14-year-old boy’s bicycle.

Immediately afterwards, the boy was hit on the back and head and threatened. He managed to escape through alleys near the fire station. Once he got back to his bike, it was gone. The police suspect that the two have stolen the bicycle.
