“Somewhere in a book there is a phrase waiting for us to give meaning to our existence.” This literary quote that Cervantes gave us sums up the pleasure of a good read and the wonderful world of books. Throughout history we have heard that the book can be a friend and that reading makes us freer. The books went through difficult times when out of intolerance many were considered dangerous and burned at the stake. We will almost totally agree that every time we close the last page of that book, we always have a lesson well learned. We enter the month of April, the month in which we will celebrate the International Children’s and Youth Book Day and the World Book and Copyright Day, our streets and cities, as well as our bookstores, will once again be filled with celebration celebrating the books. Maybe we will meet our favorite writer or writer. Let’s celebrate while we can the experiences of the great characters who built humanity or the legends of imaginary heroes or not. In short, everything that has ever made us dream.
