At the airport in the Romanian capital Bucharest, a KLM aircraft is currently being investigated after a bomb threat. This confirms a spokesperson for KLM ANP after reporting by NH News.
It concerns flight KL1376 that was to depart from Bucharest to Amsterdam on Saturday evening.
The passengers and crew have been taken off board and are safe, KLM reports. There were 89 passengers on board the aircraft.
KLM was not yet able to say if and when a replacement aircraft will be available for the flight to Amsterdam. That partly depends on the investigation that the Romanian authorities are doing into the bomb threat.
