Body Positive – Fashion for plus size is normal at Fashion Week

Some designers offer the same garment from XS to XXL by presenting it on a thin girl and a round one. This is the case of Rihanna with her lingerie brand Savage x Fenty. Other stylists prefer to include a few plus size models in their parade, just to best adapt to these morphologies. This option is the most frequently chosen at New York Fashion Week where the fall-winter 2022-2023 collections are currently being unveiled. Models such as Paloma Elsesser and Precious Lee parade on equal footing with Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. In Europe, this practice remains marginal. In the United States, where Body Positive comes from, it has become a part of the morals. Diversity rhymes with normality.
