MACABRE – Tuesday evening, a plumber who intervened to unclog the pipe of a building in Saint-Priest, south-east of Lyon, discovered several pieces of human bodies
Hands, a foot, bits of flesh… Tuesday evening, around 11:30 p.m., the police was solicited in Saint-Priest, a town in the south-east of Lyonafter the discovery of several human body parts in a clogged drain, told 20 Minutes the Lyon public prosecutor’s office, confirming information from Lyon Mag.
It was a plumber who intervened to unclog the pipe of this apartment building who would have made the macabre discovery of “human remains”. The police services were then alerted by the company in charge of the intervention, at the request of the owner, further specifies the prosecution. Police officers also found an electric saw in a trash can near the scene.
An open investigation and a suspect in custody
The Lyon prosecutor’s office “immediately” opened an investigation into the charge of intentional homicide which was entrusted to the judicial police. A 28-year-old suspect was arrested and placed in police custody on Wednesday morning and a psychiatric expertise on the latter must be carried out. The man is known and “treated for psychiatric disorders for several years”, continued the prosecution. The trail of a murder without motive to organized crime is privileged, reports The Parisian.
