Bochum – VfL Bochum will have to do without striker Jürgen Locadia in the Bundesliga home game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
The 28-year-old was substituted when leaving the DFB Cup last Wednesday against SC Freiburg and did not get fit in time for the game this Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky). Bochum’s coach Thomas Reis is also missing midfielder Robert Tesche and attacker Simon Zoller, who has been injured for some time.
Bochum was only eliminated on Wednesday by conceding a goal in the last minute of extra time in the quarter-finals. “We finished the game. The team is also keen to end the week on a positive note,” Reis said on Friday. “We’re having a great season and want to crown the season by staying up. We are welded together and that will not knock us down either.”
