Los Angeles police say emergency services responded to reports of a medical emergency when they found Bobby Brown Jr. died Wednesday morning. He was the son of Bobby Brown and Kim Ward.
The 28-year-old was declared dead on the spot. Police spokesman Jeff Lee says there is no suspicion that anything criminal has happened. The cause of death is not yet known.
Bobby Brown started his singing career as a member of the RnB group New Edition before becoming a solo artist. He was married for several years to Whitney Houston, who died in 2012.
