Sascha Petzold will become a member of the Board of Management of ADAC Versicherung AG on January 1, 2023. He succeeds James Wallner, who is leaving the Executive Committee as planned and retiring at the end of 2022.

Sascha Petzold will be appointed to the Board of Directors of ADAC Versicherung AG as of January 2023, succeeding James Wallner. The 47-year-old has held various positions at ADAC Versicherung since 1995, primarily in the areas of claims and operations management. He is currently in charge of the claims management department. Since January 2022, the trained insurance specialist and business economist has also been a member of the supervisory board of ADAC Autoversicherung AG.
Within the board of directors of ADAC Versicherung AG, Petzold will be responsible for claims processing for composite products, the ADAC ambulance service, complaints management, specialist insurance purchasing, performance management and network management.
“We are very happy to appoint a manager from our own ranks who is as qualified as he is experienced in Sascha Petzold,” says Claudia Tuchscherer, CEO of ADAC Versicherung AG. “He has contributed to the success of our company in a responsible position in recent years and has all the qualities to seamlessly take over the management of the claims department on the Board of Management”.
