Blue sex It is an interactive exhibition on the sexual reproduction of living things that live in water. It is made up of 20 modules that contain living things, museum pieces, models, touch screens, games, interactive devices and illustrations. 10 aquariums are part of this exhibition, and in them we can see animals that migrate during the breeding season, dance bridal dances and exchange roles among many other curiosities. You can even see a fish that changes sex up to 20 times a day and female shark that can reproduce without the intervention of males.
The exhibition also has interactive modules with games and touch screens, various works of art by the Galician illustrator Miguelanxo Prado and a collection of ancient natural history treatises. You can also see a collective sculpture built with pieces made by visitors to the Aquarium, called Sex machine.
