Federal police withdraw false visa from circulation

On Thursday afternoon (January 27, 2022), a Federal Police patrol checked a long-distance coach from Poland at the central bus station in Freiburg im Breisgau. A 46-year-old Turkish national was also checked as part of the intensified manhunt. When checking the man’s passport, the patrol noticed that the Polish visa in the passport was forged. The trip was supposed to take the 46-year-old to Switzerland, but the bus trip ended at the federal police station. The false visa was secured and the man was reported for forging documents and violating the Residence Act. He was then referred to the relevant immigration office.
