The Blues’ new jersey received a variety of responses from fans from praising to calling it the worst jersey in club history.
Chelsea officially introduces a new home jersey for the 2020/21 season, with a herringbone pattern stitching to break the fans opinion.
The simple design, which is called being inspired by London’s traditional crafts, will allow you to see the new sponsor plastered, with the old sponsor no longer a club jersey sponsor.
As expected, some supporters were impatient to see the new jersey, with new sponsors adorning the club’s cloak of war being the target of criticism.
In fact, some of the Blues fans jokingly said that the commentator would misidentify the player by saying the name Marcos Alonso because the wing-back wore the back number three.
And, while negative comments are popping up, from simple things like “terrible” to “the worst jersey in Chelsea history”, others are satisfied with the new design and some say Kai Havertz – a Bayern Leverkusen player rumored to be targeted by Chelsea – will look good wearing it .

“Inspired by the traditional association of West London with the main tailors and their exceptional expertise, the Blues’ new home jersey ventured into a new realm. Beautiful design, textured, modern classics fully suited to the trendiest clubs in the capital.”
Club star Tammy Abraham, who will compete with Timo Werner for the position as the main striker next season, said he really liked the new jersey.
“This jersey is very, very smart – very Chelsea,” Abraham said as reported by the club’s official website. “You can see the story behind the jersey with how it looks and all the little touches remind you of good clothes. I think we will definitely be the team with the best jersey next season.”
