‘Blue Bag’: Benfica omits compensation of 307 thousand euros – Football

In the information provided to the market due to the bond loan (EO) in which it asks for 40 million euros, Benfica leaves out almost two thirds (62.9%) of the compensation that the Public Prosecutor’s Office claims from the club’s business group under the so-called ‘Blue Bag’ process.

In the prospectus for the EO – whose subscription period starts today and ends on the 12th -, in the risks related to judicial, arbitration and administrative proceedings, it is mentioned that Benfica SAD is accused of two crimes of qualified tax fraud, with a “tax contingency which will be 181,148 thousand euros”, an amount already “claimed in the context of a claim for compensation deducted by the Public Ministry” (MP).
