Blood donation collection
Tuesday September 28 and Wednesday September 29 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In the UPF association room
- Precautions to be taken for each donor:
– Wearing a mask is compulsory
– Wide hand washing at least with hydroalcoholic gel
– Maintain physical distance between each individual
– Come in groups of 5 to avoid regrouping
- Eligibility criteria
– You must weigh more than 50 kg
– You must be over 18 and under 70 (65 if 1st donation)
– You are neither pregnant nor having given birth less than 6 months
– You have not had a fever or infection in the last 15 days
– You have not had a tattoo or piercing in the last 4 months
– You have not had a new partner in the last 4 months
Tell the doctor if:
– You have seen a dentist in the last 7 days
– You have traveled abroad in the past 4 months
– You have health problems, you are taking medication, you have had an operation in the last 4 months
– Do not come on an empty stomach, drink plenty of water
– Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking before and after the donation
– Do not plan for significant physical activity in the day following the donation
BRING AN IDENTITY FOR A FIRST DONATION
- Regarding vaccination against Covid-19:
It is possible to donate blood before or after an injection of the Covid-19 vaccine without any delay.
Regarding Covid-19:
– if symptomatic, wait 28 days after the onset of symptoms to donate blood
-if asymptomatic but with Covid-19 test +, wait 14 days from the date of the test to donate blood
-if close contact with a confirmed case of covid-19, wait 14 days after the last contact with that person to donate blood unless your PCR, antigen or self-test is negative
The health pass is not necessary to donate blood.
