Blizzard fires more than 20 employees after scandals

Activision Blizzard fired more than 20 employees following scandals and allegations of workplace harassment you face. Another 20 have had to face disciplinary measures.

In addition, he mentioned that in recent months reports from many years ago to the present have come to light, so that the Ethics and Compliance Department is investigating with resources internal and external to Blizzard.

Categories and resources are assigned to prioritize the most serious reports first. In connection with multiple resolved reports, more than 20 people have left Activision Blizzard and more than 20 people have faced other types of disciplinary action.

Attached to this, the vice president repeated that reports can be submitted anonymously and that there will be no tolerance for retaliation of any kind, as his team works to improve the way in which complaints are handled effectively.

He also mentioned that 3 permanent positions have been added to the Ethics and Compliance Department, which is expected to continue growing, in addition to recognizing the contributions they will be given an extra day of vacation for its merits.
