The US Secretary of State will meet with the Russian Foreign Minister on February 24, provided there is no Russian invasion of Ukraine.
A meeting between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov may take place on February 24. Blinken stated this on air of the TV channel Rain.
“We have a meeting scheduled for the 24th, at the end of next week in Europe. But as I told Minister Lavrov in my letter in reply, this assumes that Russia will not attack Ukraine during that time,” Blinken said.
Earlier it was reported that the meeting was scheduled on February 23rd.
Recall, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and OSCE head, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau discussed Western policy towards Russia and named three areas on which the dialogue should take place.
