The Bremer Logistics Group (BLG) has apparently hit the Corona year 2020 hard. The logistics company posted a loss of 120 million euros in 2020, reports the “Weser-Kurier” (WK), citing “several reliable sources”. The company itself did not want to comment on this to the WK and referred to the official presentation of the business figures in April. A request from buten un within to BLG has so far received no response.

BLG is completely in the hands of the city of Bremen and is said to have turned to the Senate for support at an early stage – but to no avail. According to “Weser-Kurier”, the losses could be partially offset by the sale of the high-bay warehouse in Bremen-Strom to Tchibo. According to the WK, BLG did not want to comment on this point either.
