Barcelona won 2-0 when playing away to headquarters Osasuna. Winning goal Blaugrana printed Jordi Alba and Ilaix Moriba.
Week 26 Spanish League this season brings together Osasuna vs Barcelona. The match was held at El Sadar Stadium, Sunday (7/3/2021) early morning WIB.
Osasuna opened the first chance in the 15th minute. Enrique Barja shoots the ball from the edge of the area which Marc-Andre ter Stegen can block and results in a corner.
Red Card! Sergio Herrera was sent off in the 21st minute. The Osasuna goalkeeper violated Lionel Messi and touch the ball outside the penalty box.
WHERE! The referee canceled Herrera’s red card after the review Video Assistant Refeeree (VAR). Messi was caught offside first before Herrera violated.
Goal! Barcelona scored a goal in the 30th minute. Jordi Alba listed his name on the scoreboard.
Starting from Messi’s long ball to Alba, the ball was then brought by Alba to the penalty box which he then kicked into Osasuna’s net. Barcelona lead 1-0.
Osasuna almost equalized four minutes later. Ruben Garcia grabs a Lucas Torro cross which Ter Stegen can save.
There are no additional goals until entering the rest period. The first half closed with Barcelona 1-0 advantage.
Entering the second half, Barcelona did not relax their attacks. The ball from Messi’s long distance shot into the right corner of the goal in the 48th minute was blocked by Herrera.
Alba almost scored his second goal when the game entered the 81st minute. He shoots the ball from the right side of the penalty area which Herrera can block with his body.
Goal! Barcelona doubled the advantage in the 83rd minute. Substitute Ilaix Moriba found Osasuna’s goal with his measured kick, maximizing Messi’s short ball.
Moriba’s goal closed the match this time. Barcelona ended the match with a 2-0 win over Osasuna.
An additional three points makes Barcelona now collect 56 points and is in second place Spanish League standings, are two points behind Atletico Madrid in first place. Meanwhile, Osasuna stuck in 13th with 28 points.
