A huge boulder threatens to fall on the road in the Black Forest. So the preparations for the demolition are going on.
In the Black Forest, motorists and the train are threatened with a heavy hazard. According to reports from Deutsche Bahn (DB), the route in Höllental between Hinterzarten and Himmelreich was closed. Also on the B31 federal road, according to information from echo24.de* still nothing more. And the security measures make perfect sense – the mega boulder has it all. A blast is planned.
As the German Press Agency (dpa) reports that car traffic between Freiburg and Titisee-Neustadt will be diverted: in the direction of Donaueschingen via Buchenbach, Spirzenstraße to Hinterzarten; in the other direction it goes via the B500 from St. Märgen to Buchenbach. As reported by the Freiburg police, “The route is already well used”. But there is no risk of traffic chaos.

The DB further explains: “The trains of the lines S1, S10 and S11 run in the sections Breisach/Endingen am Kaiserstuhl-Freiburg (Breisgau) Hauptbahnhof-Himmelreich and Titisee-Seebrugg/Villingen. In the Himmelreich-Hinterzarten-Titisee line section, Deutsche Bahn uses buses.
