That’s what a man from Colorado in the United States says notify the Idaho Statesman after his car was broken into on 15 October this year.
According to the newspaper, it was an insolent black bear that got into the parked car. The theory is that the bear must have been lured by several chocolates that were in the front seat of the car.

The car owner himself, who wishes to remain anonymous, was not around when the break-in took place. However, it was a security guard from Colorado Parks and Wildlife who spotted the thief:
– When I was contacted by the security guard, my chin dropped. He destroyed everything, says the car owner to the newspaper about the long-fingered black bear.
Both the security guard and the owner escaped unharmed from the incident, but the car’s interior could not be saved. Photos published by Colorado Parks show that both front seats were destroyed, and that the car doors were brutally opened.
– The bear even pooped in one of my seats, rages the owner.

Not the first time
The black bear’s actions have not gone unnoticed: In recent weeks, photos and video clips of the break-in have been frequently shared on Facebook and X, and several have taken to the comment section:
– I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It’s hysterical, but I would have HATED it if it had happened to me, writes one follower.
– This is the rudest thing I have seen, writes another.
Several also pretend to be horrified that this could happen in Colorado, but it is actually far from the first time a bear has gotten into a car in the area:
