“BISU Graduate Ranks 9th in April 2023 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination in Bohol Island State University”

A graduate from Bohol Island State University (BISU) secured the ninth spot in the April 2023 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination. Crisnico Espinosa Peligrino scored 89.35, ranking alongside Jester Javier Silapan of University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan and Daniello Amoroso Camilon of Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main Sta. Mesa. Congratulations poured in for Peligrino from Basdio Elementary School in Guindulman town where he finished his elementary education from 2011 to 2012 on Facebook. Peligrino will receive P50,000 from the provincial government of Bohol under the recently-approved ordinance that extends cash incentives to Boholanos who make it to the top-ten of professional licensure and bar examinations. This recognition and incentives by the provincial government is one way of inspiring Boholanos to strive for greater heights of academic excellence. Boholanos who rank first on any professional examination however will receive P100,000, second to fifth will receive P75,000 and sixth to tenth place will receive P50,000. In addition, these topnotchers will be given priority in hiring for employment in the provincial government of Bohol.
