BIN Successfully Holds Vaccination for 3 Thousand Students in Bantaeng

INDONESIAN EYE, JENEPONTO – The South Sulawesi Regional BIN or South Sulawesi BIN has again carried out mass vaccination activities for students and students. The activity was held at DDI Mattoangin, SMK 1 Bantaeng, SMP 1 Pa’jukukang, and Ponpes Al Furqon Ereng–Ereng on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

This event is part of simultaneous vaccination activities in 10 provinces which are monitored virtually by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.

When interacting with students in Bantaeng, Jokowi admitted that he was amazed by the student vaccination efforts carried out by Binda Sulsel and the Bantaeng Regency Government.

“How many started to be vaccinated?” Jokowi asked the head of Pondok DDI Mattoanging, Abd Haris Nurdin, Lc.

Abd Haris also answered by mentioning the number of students who were vaccinated as many as 3,000 people.

“Good, the numbers are large, everything will be completed quickly so that we can be safe from the dangers of Covid,” Jokowi replied.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional State Intelligence Agency (Kabinda) of South Sulawesi, Brigadier General (TNI) Dwi Suryatmojo, admitted that he appreciated the Bantaeng Regency Government for continuing to socialize and vaccinate the community in Bantaeng.

So far, people in Bantaeng are aware of the importance of vaccination. “But socialization should not be broken,” he said.

He revealed that his party will help the government of Bantaeng Regency to conduct vaccination socialization simultaneously. According to him, one of the main obstacles regarding the dissemination of this vaccination is the distribution of hoaxes through social media.

He said socialization and vaccination would continue to be carried out by BIN together with the Bantaeng Regency Government. This will continue to be done three times in one week until the end of next year.

“Our daily target is to reach 5,000 people. So, in a week we can touch 15 thousand people. We will monitor it simultaneously until the condition improves and people start to realize the importance of vaccines,” he said.

The same thing was conveyed by the Regent of Bantaeng, DR. Ilham Azikin. He said the only obstacle regarding the dissemination of this vaccination was the spread of hoaxes about the dangers of vaccination. Therefore, the government continues to carry out vaccination socialization to suppress the spread of this hoax.

“Public awareness about vaccines has started to grow. People are not so difficult to get vaccinated. But we need to continue this socialization,” he said.
