The next day, Reynolds – Fisher’s mother and “Singin ‘In The Rain” star among countless other films – died at 84 from a stroke.

“She was the coolest, funniest person ever. She was my best friend ever. No one will ever be as funny as she is. She was fair – she is amazing. “

Lourd told the New Day capsule that she rarely speaks candidly about her famous mother and grandmother for fear her remarks will be misinterpreted by the media.

“It was like I wanted them to die, and it’s absolutely the opposite of what I wanted. I would do anything to get them back, but I felt like I was thrilled to have the ‘Billie Show’. “

Lourd also admitted that she actively resisted linking up publicly with Fisher and Reynolds during their lifetime because she wanted to forge her own path as an actress.
