Billa Retail Chain Discovers Dangerous Spoilage in Popular Product: Clever Spread with Horseradish

Unfortunately, it does not seem that really high-quality food, like in Germany or Poland, will start to be sold in the Czech Republic anytime soon. It is still true that from all over Europe, the chain stores offer us the very worst that is currently available.

A beloved product has failed

It’s not just that the composition of the food is often very questionable and not good, but in such a state, what really often happens here can also happen. The food is of such poor quality that it is even dangerous. Unfortunately, this also applies to those that are very popular and customers buy them in large quantities.

A big problem is currently being solved by the Billa retail chain, which discovered on its own that the product sold under its private label Clever shows unpleasant symptoms, which are probably the result of spoilage processes in the product.

It is nothing more than a traditional spread with horseradish, in a 150-gram package, which has a minimum shelf-life date of November 26, 2023. In this case, the manufacturer is the Olma company, which falls under the Agrofert holding, which produces really everywhere and which emphasizes not exactly famous for quality.

Run to return it

With the product of the company OLMA, as, the cap may swell,” warns the Billa company in a press release. She announced the withdrawal of the product from the market, when she is said to be cooperating with State agricultural and food inspection.

Of course, it is also expected that a large amount of these goods will already be with the customers themselves. They are advised not to consume it under any circumstances. You can throw it straight into the trash, which is the safest thing, but if you want to get your money back, Billa gives you that option. The product can be returned in any of its stores, even if you do not present a receipt.

We can only hope that the seller and the manufacturer will be very careful so that something like this does not happen again. However, experience shows that this is unlikely to happen.
